This is an 8 week intensive, on the entire process of telling a fantastic adventure story, as a one person team. Levi will unpack the exact process he’s developed for finding great stories before they even start. You will leave this cohort creating your own process to follow and evolve as your storytelling improves. We will dive into how to develop these skills by filming yourself, and then how to use the foundation of self filming to make better documentaries about other people. The curriculum is equal parts technicality and process. The technical skills needed to know what it is you should actually be filming once you are on location with your camera in hand. And the process insights to learn what is actually needed to tell effective stories. No fluff or formulas. Purely the core of what works. This course is cohort based to help give you the accountability to finally make progress.

Who It’s For: This is for the creator who wants to tell stories. The creator who loves adventure and doing things that are challenging. This is everything I wish I knew starting out. It’s for someone who wants to learn the details and skills of how to effectively produce cinematic films as a one person team beginning to end.

They often get stuck in the research phase but are eager to produce work they can be proud of. They have often purchased and research gear choices, but don’t actually make what they are proud of with this gear. These filmmakers typically work solo, handling all aspects of production on their own, and they need practical, approachable advice. They’re looking for guidance that empowers them to tackle their projects with clear, actionable steps, helping them reduce overwhelm and embrace long-term progress.

When and Where?

I want you to get results in the most efficient way possible. This cohort will be an 8 week intensive, with 4 bonus weeks once the initial teaching material has had some time to digest and bet put into practice. Each week there will be exercises and things to practice. This isn’t home work. This is the work that you actually need to be doing instead of overthinking things. All of the work that you will do in this course will be material you can immediately start using for building your own Youtube channel or expanding your filmmaking efforts.

The teaching sessions will happen live every Monday at 10am PT.
There will be a weekly community Q&A call to expand and dive deeper on any questions that came up from the previous teaching session.
Cohort involvement and interaction is what will supercharge this learning experience.
